Anunciamos que la versión 4.6 de K-DEMar está prevista para 16 julio 2008
Los cambios más importantes, son los siguientes:
* Navegador web Mozilla Firefox 3.0
* Pulseaudio como servidor de sonido (en sustitución de Alsa)
* Instalador 5 (http://blog NULL.kademar NULL.org/2008/06/30/instalador-5-y-46/)
* kdemarstart (centro de bienvenida)
* Reproductor multimedia Smplayer por defecto
* Knetwork-manager (gestion automatizada de internet)
* Algunas mejoras gráficas (gfxgrub, oxygen cursor&icons, splashy aun más temprano en el inicio)
* Solucionado bug que provocaba errores al actualizar
* Se han corregido los errores encontrados y reportados
Es una versión que da más movilidad al ordenador e incorpora dos de las 4 estrellas de kdemar5, instalador y kdemarstart.
Además de la flexibilidad que dan pulseaudio y knetwork-manager, K-DEMar 4.6 es una versión en la que se premia la eficiencia y sencillez de uso, como características principales.
- La flexibilidad y tranquilidad de tener internet con wifi o a traves de cable configurado utomáticamente. Reconexión automática al perder la red, ya sea wifi o cable.
- Y la independencia en el control de volúmen que pulseaudio permite:
Volúmenes independientes para cada aplicación, para una mayor comodidad de gestión de los recursos de sonido.
En principio tenemos previsto que esta sea la última versión hasta que salga la K-DEMar 5.0
